That Music Always Round Me!

Chris Artley's latest work is this commission for The Graduate Choir NZ 20th anniversary concert, which takes place at the end of October! It’s been a pleasure setting Walt Whitman’s beautiful poem to music and great to have the luxury of writing for double choir and semi-chorus, as this opens up lots of rich harmonic and textural options. Many thanks to choir director, Terence Maskell for his support with the commission and for designing the elegant front cover.
